This version of the Sched4u product allows a user to use a Client Interface from their own personal computer, communicate with and run
a Sched4u Server application located in the cloud, to automatically create employee schedules. The client interface is used to
create a configuration in which the user enters definitions, requirements and preferences for the schedule. During the configuration phase, the
user defines shift start and end times, role types, a list of available employees, required quantities of employees in
shifts, personal and global constraints etc.
Employee Schedules are created with the click of a button, which in turn triggers a quick series of events:
a. The required schedule configuration is sent encrypted via an SSL secure communication path to a secure Sched4u Server located in the cloud.
b. The Sched4u Server automatically creates the required schedule and immediately sends the results back via the same secure communication path.
c. The Sched4u Client presents the newly created schedule to the user; the user can inspect the schedule using sophisticated inspection tools which are
part of the user interface.
d. The user can save the schedule in a database located on his own personal computer.

in turn is used to produce the employee schedule using Sched4u Server.
The configuration contains definitions, requirements, and preferences for the schedule. Specifically
